Throughout life I have experienced and witnessed domestic violence and many forms of abuse. I have been working with victims of homelessness and vulnerable people such as those who have encountered some form of abuse be it sexual physical or psychological for many years now and I do not believe that these encounters should in anyway define a person.
Each client that I assist and mentored has their very own personality that always manages to shine through their circumstances. My own personal experiences has made it easier to identify with my clients as well as assist them. However a person can only be made well once their minds are well enough to seek help and get out of their current situation.
The people I have assisted have made a decision that they must move from their current bondage to a place of liberty and wellness, one step at a time for the sake of their sanity and destiny. Mentoring and encouraging victims of sexual abuse and all its kind have become my passion and my heart. I believe that those who have been hurt and hated have so much suppressed love to give through their talents and God given gifts. After being delivered from my very own state of mind, I have pursued my passion to nurture and care through other venues of service such as catering and event planning, Mama J’s Kitchens. For I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good, it is only selfish if I do not share it with others (Psalms 34:8).
A Well Woman has nurtured and brought insight to many women across the globe, providing a platform for us to learn how to make the most of our lives here on earth starting from our minds, to body, to expression. This platform has been an encouragement to share, showcase and receive wisdom from God through His very own daughters – What a privilege! What an opportunity! If you have something to give to your community be encouraged and remember everything good and pleasant is a gift from God and He will give you all provision and wisdom needed for the vision to be birthed if you ask Him. Allow Him to unlock your true potential. As a man thinketh so is he (Proverbs 23:7).
